Jamal is a fictional coming-of-age drama about a teenager faced with an impossible life decision: He's finished school and can either follow the path he's expected to take by his family and friends - or he follows his passion of music, disregarding the needs of many, especially his widowed mum. Timewarp is a short film about a young woman, who tries to find her way back to normal life after a long period of isolation. But soon, she begins to realize that the world around her starts to move faster and faster, with drastic consequences. Konstantin Mayer credited as 1. AD.
UNITED BY TIME
United By Time is a spec advertisement for Casio digital watches (the "Retro Line"). The spot heavily reflects the 80s style of the watch, but modern elements are incorporated as well, reflecting the product's timelessness. Konstantin Mayer as Co-Producer and 1. AD.
A Gentleman Cares
A Gentleman Cares is an advertisement campaign for German startup company "Lennart And Luke", manufacturing beard- and Skincare products. It centres around the idea of a Gentleman taking care for his family and the environment, but also himself. Main product is a 60-second multi-purpose commercial. yakamoz
The music video for Mikouai's song Yakamoz (from the EP Tief) is comprised of footage shot by Konstantin Mayer and his team for Saving Rakiura? in New Zealand in 2019, where Mikouai wrote the song, inspired by the surrounding nature. The video has also been edited by Konstantin Mayer.
Drama am Schlagzeug
After almost 40 years, the former pianist of the band Spider Murphy Gang, Michael Busse, returns to the musical stage with his single Drama Am Schlagzeug. The music video reflects the content of the song, which is an obituary to a former bandmate. Konstantin Mayer credited as Executive Producer.
LOVELIKE
Lovelike is a music video about an often forgotten shadow side of the pandemic: The negative impact on (especially) young people's mental health created by the absence of possibilities to socialize, clubs and bars being a part of it. Konstantin Mayer as Co-Producer and 1. AD.
Drei Beine Ohne Boden
Drei Beine ohne Boden ("three feet without a floor") is a very short narrative film, produced as part of the 24h To Take festival. It centres around a young woman whose life is falling apart. While at her lowest point, she encounters a weird character offering her to stay with him in eternal darkness - or restarting her life. Konstantin Mayer as 1. AD and Colorist.
