Every year since 2013, teams of motivated filmmakers in Germany can register at the "24h to take" nation-wide competition. As the name suggests, the teams have 24 hours to produce a short movie with the maximum length of 5 minutes. To make sure no-one enters a movie into the competition that they might've made beforehand, there is a number of requirements the teams are given at the beginning of the 24h-period, which have to be included into the final result: This year it was the title "Drei Beine ohne Boden" (three feet without a floor), and the three items nail, clock/watch, and paper.
We turned the requirements into a four minute film about a young woman (played by Andra Offermann) whose life is falling apart. Her three main pillars or "legs" are falling away: Colleges decline her, parents throw her out of the house, and her boyfriend breaks up with her. As she hits rock bottom, she ends up in a black void of desperation - where a strange character (played by Zoraiz Off) awaits her. He wants to convince her to stay with her in the eternal darkness. However, she doesn't want to hide away from the real world. But is her willpower strong enough to get her out of the black nothing?
