Konstantin Mayer (he/him) (*2000 in Traunstein) works as a freelance film producer, green consultant, and assistant director. While studying Film & TV with a major in Production at Macromedia University in Munich, he already began his freelance work - for example, producing music videos or working on set for a diverse range of film productions. These include Tatort München and Lebenslinien (both TV series, BR), feature films like Bis Es Mich Gibt, or independent short films like Timewarp.
He finished his studies in the winter semester of 2022/23 (Grade: 1.6) with the short film Jamal, co-produced by TV broadcaster BR and funded by FFF Bayern. Afterwards, he focused on his freelance work, particularly as assistant director for project such as the cinema documentary Ein Stummer Hund Will Ich Nicht Sein, or the theater production All In.
After completing postgraduate training at IHK Munich in autumn 2023 with a grade of 1.1, he started working as Green Consultant for TV movies and series (Watzmann Ermittelt (BR), München Laim (ZDF), Billy Kuckuck (ARD Degeto)). Some of these projects were realised as an independent contractor for Grüner Werkzeugkasten (Green Toolkit) GmbH.
Konstantin Mayer is also actively engaged in supporting young film talents, eg. through lectures at his alma mater on the basics of film composition in spring 2024, and by conducting free workshops on film production at Shift Studios Düsseldorf in May 2025.
Since January 2025, his main focus has been his work as a film producer. The first project was the independent short film Raging Sea, for which he served as executive producer. After post production was completed in August 2025, he intensified the development of two feature films, and began working on the foundation of his own production company, planned to launch in early 2026.
