During the pandemic, most of the conversation revolved around protecting the more vulnerable members of our society from the dangerous virus. While most of us were very much willing to help and isolate, the social life of many young people was practically non-existent.
This had a huge impact, which isn't talked about enough. The missing freedom of going to clubs and bars, meeting with friends and having a good time, led to a huge rise in psychological issues. Those will stay, even if the pandemic is over one day.
The music video Lovelike (song by Saint WKND ft. LissA) is trying to reflect on that. A woman arrives at an empty and somewhat dusty disco - the absence of people over the past months created a strange atmosphere. She makes use of the empty dance floor and does an expressionistic dance to the music of Saint WKND, representing self love and confidence.
Even though a lot has changed over the past months while the clubs and bars were empty, one should always be true to oneself, and be confident, that times will be better again.
